About This Role
Andelo is a design subscription service for Australian marketing teams. We're looking for an Account Manager who owns client relationships and champions their success, not someone who just passes messages between clients and designers.
What You'll Do
Client Ownership
- Own 2-3 client accounts fully. Your success is measured by whether clients stay and grow their accounts
- Be the brand guardian: ensure every design meets their standards and brand guidelines
- Coach designers on client-specific preferences
- Conduct monthly check-ins beyond project work
- Spot warning signs early and act before they become problems
- Build trust with Marketing Directors and Creative Managers
- Escalate recurring issues to leadership with solutions, not just problems
Brief & Quality
- Check briefs are complete before designers start (assets, specs, references, deadline)
- Clarify vague briefs by calling clients, asking questions, providing examples
- Brief designers with context, not just basic instructions
- Quality-check work against the brief before clients see it
- Minimise revision rounds. You're the final check before delivery
- Manage scope professionally when clients request extras

Requirements
- 4+ years in Account Manager, Client Services, or Client Success role in a design, creative, or marketing agency
- Design literacy to spot alignment issues, layout problems, and brand violations before work reaches clients
- Proficiency with ClickUp or similar PM tools, comfortable reviewing files in Figma/Adobe
- Professional English for client meetings and written communication
- Availability during Australian business hours (typically 10am-4pm Sydney time)
